Through the use of smart home technologies, Log Escape can customize your booking with your choice of 1, 2, 3 or 4-bedroom(s), depending on your needs.
Bedrooms are equipped with digital locks that can be individually programmed to be “always open” OR unlocked using smart devices (Bluetooth & app required) or RFID tags (provided by Log Escape).
Customizing your stay is easy. Simply create a booking through one of our Partner’s (see below) and specify the bedrooms* you wish to rent in the comments section of your reservation. We will then customize your package and send you an updated quotation for you to approve. It’s that simple!
* Exception: The Master Bedroom, with its own soaker tub en suite, is available only with a “whole home / 4-bedroom” rental, or as part of a special request (extra per night fees apply).

House Rules:
Most of these go without saying, but just to ensure we are on the same page...
- Maximum of 12 registered guests and/or visitors at the Property at ANYTIME.
- The Principal Guest under which a reservation is made must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age and reside as one of the guests of the Property for the entire duration of the reservation.
- All Guests who are part of a non-family related group (i.e. A group of friends staying together at the Log Escape) must ALL be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age. Failure to disclose Guests under this age requirement prior to booking your reservation may result in your reservation being cancelled, additional penalties, or a request to leave the property.
- All Guests greater than 12-years of age must register their full names and ages as part of the Check-in Questionnaire process that you will receive one (1) week prior to check-in. Failure to do so may result in your Group being: denied entry, requested to leave, or required to pay additional Guest fees (See below under "Undisclosed Guest(s) Surcharges").
- No parties or events of any kind (without prior written consent from Log Escape). If you would like to host an event (i.e. Retreat, reunion, etc.), please speak with us about it first. If Guests are found to have had a party without Host consent which results in damages or extra cleaning, Guests will be responsible for these additional costs. In the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbours, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
- No shoes within the home.
- No pets allowed, as our family has severe pet allergies.
- No food or drinks in bedrooms, with the exception of water.
- Please do not re-arrange the furniture or take furniture/tables/chairs/etc found inside outside.
- Please keep outside noise to a minimum after 10PM; per Harrison Hot Springs' Bylaw 474.
- Please keep the Kitchen in a clean state and tend immediately to spills, as the countertops stain easily.
- Please wash and put away dishes after use; feel free to use the dishwasher. Unwashed dishes may result in extra cleaning charges.
- Please know that consumables, such as condiments or snacks, may be found in the Kitchen area. Though we try our best to ensure that they are not expired or stale, it is up to the Guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The Host assumes no responsibility for these consumables.
- Items within the Kitchen's bar fridge are not included in the rental of the home. Please do not consume.
- Do not flush sanitary supplies and/or wipes of any kind down the toilet. PLEASE dispose of these in the garbage.
- Board and lawn games are available for your enjoyment. Please return them to their rightful places at the end of your stay.
- Please remember to cover the patio furniture at night, so-as to avoid the cushions getting damp/wet.
- Feel free to use the BBQ that is set up on the larger patio, but please avoid spills onto the deck area and pull it away from the house and log shelf when in use. When not in use and cool, please put its cover on and store it undercover. If the BBQ is left dirty and requires cleaning, extra cleaning charges may be applied.
- Though the outside use of Guest supplied propane or natural gas firepits are permitted OFF OF deck/patio areas, the burning of ANY solid fuels (wood, garbage, etc) IS NOT ALLOWED and may result in bylaw fines; per Harrison Hot Springs' Bylaw 1110.
- The Garage area next to the Laundry Room is not included with the rental of the home and is off limits.
- Four (4) onsite parking spots are provided via the driveway and are suitable for sedans or smaller SUVs. If parking larger/longer vehicles, please do not use the driveway and park in front of the house or at the Kayak Launch next door (on a first-come-first-serve basis and subject to Village's posted parking bylaws).
- Garbage may be left in the cans provided within bedrooms, bathrooms, and Kitchen OR may be assembled and left in the Laundry Room.
- No smoking/vaping inside the home or on patio/deck areas. Extra cleaning charges to pick-up butts and/or remediate smoking related damages will be applied.
- No illicit or illegal drug use of any kind. If Guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs, the Authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
- Lastly, though this property is used for short-term tourist accommodations, it is foremost our family's second home. PLEASE be respectful of the property, home, and its contents.
Failure to follow these rules (and basic common sense) may result in deductions from your security deposit (or other penalties).
Check-In/Out Policies:
We welcome Guests to the property as follows:
Check-In: After 3:00PM on your date of arrival.
Check-Out: Before 1:00PM on your date of departure.
Self check-in instructions will be emailed to you 24-hours prior to your scheduled check-in date, along with a digital access code and/or smart device e-key; both good for the duration of your stay to access the home and selected bedrooms.
Additional cleaning required due to not adhering to OR purposefully neglecting the above House Rules will be billed to the Principal Guest at a rate of $75/hour for two (2) Cleaners, at half (1/2) hour increments and with a one (1) hour minimum.
Damages will be billed to the Principal Guest at the cost to repair, plus a 15% surcharge.
Failure to secure the home & set the alarm at check-out may result in a $250 ($375 on statutory holidays) surcharge to the Principle Guest should someone need to be deployed to secure the property on their behalf.
Undisclosed Guest Surcharge(s) will be charged at a rate of $100/Guest/Night for people not listed in a Rental Group's check-in manifest and/or in excess of the twelve (12) guest maximum.
Cancellation Policy:
We know that stuff happens; often causing changes/disruptions to your vacation plans; we've been there! With that, we offer the following cancellation policy (minus applicable service fees):
- Up to 30-days prior to check-in: 100% FULL REFUND.
- Between 30 and 14-days prior to check-in: 50% refund.
- 14-days of less prior to check-in: No refunds
